Senior Sales Executive

We are searching for a proven sales professional with a can do attitude. Main function of this job is to increase sales revenues as well as educate the customers on the products being offered.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be driven, motivated, a problem solver, confident, prompt, focused, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent time management skills with a high degree of understanding of the sales process. Additionally:
- Responsibility and accountability for assigned revenue goals through direct channels
- Display exceptional strategic selling skills including discovery, ROI development, presentation skills, sales cycle maintenance, tactical planning and closing
- Achieve sales activity quota of 40 outbound sales calls per day, proficiency with cold call situations
- Maintain and record customer database (e.g. SalesForce or QuickBase)
- Analyze sales data
- Research to gain new customer information, manage lead pipeline and progression
- Respond to inbound calls
- Participate in continuing product education
- Demonstrate value-added solutions using a professional consultative/solutions selling approach
- Establish, build and maintain positive, professional relationships at all decision levels within prospect accounts
- Maintain active knowledge of self-insured employer space and key constituencies to employee health, including wellness firms, benefit consultancies, and plan administrators
- Achieve proficiency in describing and demonstrating all VitalSpring solutions
- Participate in trade shows/conferences as required
- Maintain the highest standards of professional ethics, honesty, integrity, and reliability
Experience and Qualifications:
- 4+ years of direct selling experience
- Consultative sales experience selling analytical products, software solutions and/or services or other equivalent experience
- Track record for lead qualification and close
- Demonstrate superior knowledge of key healthcare market segments including: self-insured employers, carriers, TPAs, consulting, wellness, and disease management companies
- Exceptional strategic selling skills including discovery, ROI development and presentation, sales cycle maintenance, tactical action planning and closing.
- Successful negotiation and contracting experience in a complex sales environment.
- Successful consultative sales experience calling on C-level executives as well as operational department heads; ability to develop high level contacts at client/prospect organizations, and to maintain those relationships in a professional manner.
- Team player with the ability to engender confidence with all levels of VitalSpring employees/executives and the client company employees/executives.
- The candidate should possess excellent presentation skills and should be a driven self starter
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- College degree or equivalent experience.
